Rules and Regulations followed at Nirmal Jyotsna Public School (A Premier Institution for Holistic Learning and Discipline)
Attendance and Punctuality
- Students must attend school regularly and be punctual.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to appear for examinations.
- Leave of absence must be supported by a written application from parents/guardians.
- Repeated absence without notice may lead to discipline action.
Discipline and Conduct
- Students must maintain discipline inside and outside the school campus.
- Disrespect towards teachers or staff will not be tolerated.
- Bullying, fighting, or any form of harassment is strictly prohibited.
- Students should always speak politely and behave courteously.
Academics and Assignments
- All homework and assignments must be completed and submitted on time.
- Cheating in exams or plagiarism in assignments will result in strict penalties.
- Students must bring necessary books and stationery as per the timetable.
Uniform and Grooming
- Students must wear the prescribed school uniform on all working days. Uniforms should be clean, neat, and properly worn.
- Hair must be well-groomed; boys should have a proper haircut and girls should tie their hair neatly.
- Use of cosmetics or fancy accessories is not allowed.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in school.
- If found, such items will be confiscated and returned only to parents.
- Students must help maintain cleanliness in classrooms, corridors, and school premises.
- Littering is strictly prohibited; dustbins should be used at all times. Damage to school property (walls, furniture, books, etc.) will be taken seriously and may require compensation.
- Participation in school activities, functions, and competitions is encouraged.
- Students must attend practice sessions and rehearsals with dedication. Proper behaviour is expected during all school events and outings.
- Parents must attend PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings) regularly to stay informed of their child’s progress.
- Important notices and circulars sent via the diary or digital platforms must be acknowledged.
- Students must follow instructions during any emergency.
- Any medical issue or allergy must be reported to the school authorities in advance.
